*ALMOST GONE* Cycnodes (Cycd.) Taiwan Gold ‘Orange’ with Eco Pot
Perfect for your Thanksgiving centerpiece!
A truly amazing cross between Cycnoches chlorochilon and Mormodes badia, the Taiwan Gold 'Orange' is huge and currently in bud with double and triple spikes! Flowers are orange and crimson in color~perfect for Fall. This is a must-have for orchid collectors and will make a great gift for the orchid enthusiasts in your life.
Please note Cycnodes orchids are almost always deciduous, meaning they lose their leaves during and after flowering and enter a resting period until new growth begins in the spring. This period of inactivity is called a rest period in orchid literature.
CARE: Grow in bright, indirect light with strong air movement. While plants are actively growing, water and fertilize generously, keeping them evenly moist as they are forming new leaves. As new growths mature and plants flower, reduce water and fertilizer. Leaves typically begin to yellow and drop after flowering as the plant enters its rest period. Restrict water until the plant’s new growth produces new roots. Do not fertilize during the rest period.
The plants may arrive with yellow foliage, which is normal.
A note about shipping: As we mentioned, these plants are huge, so we must send them in our large gift boxes. Please consider purchasing additional orchids to fill your box and offset shipping charges. And as always, orders of $199 or more ship free*!
