Bright Fuchsia Petals with a Bold, Puffy Lip
A time-tested Phalaenanthe-type Dendrobium hybrid registered by D'Bush in 1988. Built heavily on the classic Dendrobium bigibbum line, this cross inherits strong, upright canes and excellent stem density, making it a reliable performer that blooms with enthusiasm.
Each spray carries rounded, overlapping flowers in a vivid magenta-fuchsia. The side lobes roll gently inward, framing a full, velvety lip that sits like a plush cushion in the center of every bloom.
The main reason to grow this one is simple: it produces the kind of rich, saturated color that cuts straight through a crowded bench. It asks for very little space relative to the show it puts on, holding its flowers crisp and flat for weeks at a time. If you have room for a sunny window, you have room for a bright splash of classic Hawaiian color.
