Saturated Ruby Blooms That Refuse to Sprawl
A classic phalaenanthe-type Dendrobium hybrid bred for rich color, heavy bloom count, and remarkably polite greenhouse manners. It stacks its foliage tightly along upright canes, sending arching flower spikes high above the leaves without demanding extra bench room.
Each bloom opens in saturated, deep ruby-crimson with darker velvety tones concentrated through the lip and throat. The petals flare flat and firm with heavy, waxy substance, sitting upright like a cluster of polished crimson badges pinned against the arching stem.
Den. Red Ruby is the kind of orchid that earns its keep by minding its footprint. While sprawling cane hybrids quickly crowd their neighbors, these slender stalks march straight up, soak up bright morning sun, and hold ten to fifteen long-lasting flowers on a single spray. They stay fresh for so many weeks you will check twice to make sure they are real.
