Known commonly as the hay-scented orchid or husk-like dendrochilum, this species is native to the Philippines and Boreno at altitudes between 700 and 2,300 meters. Den. glumaceum possesses long feathery pendulous spikes containing two rows of pure white flowers with yellow to orange lips that emerge on each new growth. With proper care, it is a reliable winter bloomer with beautifully fragrant flowers. Here at the farm, we've detected the fragrance of chai spice latte with strong vanilla notes, honeysuckle, and sweetgrass. Mature, multi-spike plants grown in 4" pots.
