Choose from:

Onc. Twinkles Famous for its explosive cloud of tiny flowers that will compliment a room with the scent of vanilla-and-spice. This popular miniature is a cross between Oncidium cheirophorum from Central America and Oncidium sotoanum, found from Mexico to Costa Rica. A reliable bloomer that doesn’t demand much space.

Hwra. Lava Burst 'Pacific Sunrise' Botanists may call it a Gomesa now, but the ‘Lava Burst’ name is spot on. It produces a fiery spray of brilliant red-orange flowers on a truly miniature plant. Its family tree is a worldly affair, with relatives from Brazil (Gomesa varicosum, Gomesa echinata) and across northern South America (Rodriguezia lanceolata). This is a little plant with a whole lot of personality.

Den. laevifolium A true gem from the misty mountains of Papua new Guinea and the Solomon Islands, found growing on rocks and trees at a brisk 2,600 to 6,500 ft. This species forms adorable, compact clumps of succulent-like leaves. The real show is the brilliant, almost-plastic magenta flowers that can last for months. Seriously, months.

Den. Mini Red Star This compact Dendrobium lives up to the 'mini' part of its name, producing charming star-shaped red flowers on a small plant. It's a great little grower that doesn't take up much bench space but puts on a surprisingly vibrant show. A perfect example of big color in a small package, descended from species found in the diverse climates of Australia and Southeast Asia.

Den. Enobi Purple This hybrid brings the classic elegance of a Phalaenopsis-type flower—round, full, and a stunning velvety purple—and puts it on a tidy, compact plant. Descended from warmth-loving species like Australia's Dendrobium bigibbum, this line is bred for a more manageable size without sacrificing any of the color saturation. It delivers that 'stop and stare' quality on a plant that fits neatly on a windowsill.

Onc. Tsiku Marguerite If you like Onc. Twinkle, you'll appreciate its charming offspring. This is Onc. Twinkle crossed back to one of its parents, Onc. sotoanum. The result is an amplified fragrance and often a lovely shade of very pale pink in the flowers. It’s like Twinkle decided to put on a little perfume and blush.

Bc. Yellow Bird A classic for a reason. Its blooms are a cheerful, sunny yellow, shaped like stars with a smattering of red freckles on the lip. One of its parents is Brassavola nodosa, the famous "Lady of the Night" orchid, so you can expect a delightful citrusy fragrance after dusk. The rest of its heritage comes from Brazilian Cattleya species, giving it warmth-loving toughness.

Brsdm. Nittany Gold The "Spider Orchid" look is strong with this one. As a Brassidium, it gets its long, spindly petals from its Brassia heritage and its fuller shape and color from its Oncidium side. Its ancestors hail from the forests of Central and South America. The flowers are large, golden-yellow, and marked with intricate brown patterns, looking like some fantastical creature.

C. Harmill Orange x Ctna. Why Not This hybrid combines the vibrant orange of Cattleya aurantiaca and Cattleya milleri with the compact size and brilliant red tones of Jamaica's Broughtonia sanguinea. The result is a small-statured plant that produces dazzling clusters of fiery orange-red flowers. It’s a little plant that’s not afraid to be loud.
