Looking for an orchid that blooms year after year from the exact same flower spike? Meet Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi 'Red'. Known affectionately as the "deer antler orchid," this species gets its name from its unique, flattened flower spikes (rachis) that look like miniature green antlers.

While the standard cornu-cervi has yellow flowers with brown barring, this highly desirable 'Red' form (often associated with the chattaladae variety) produces stunning, solid deep-red to burgundy star-shaped blooms with a glossy, waxy texture.

Water Keep evenly moist during active growth. Do not let the potting mix dry out completely bone-dry for extended periods.
Temperature Warm to hot growing. Ideal daytime temperatures are 75–85°F (24–29°C) and higher. It does not require a dramatic winter resting period or strong temperature drops.
Humidity Loves high humidity (60–80%). An indoor humidifier, terrarium, or greenhouse setting is ideal.
Potting Does well in high-quality sphagnum moss or a fine-to-medium bark mix that retains moisture while still offering root aeration.
