Phragmipedium Eric Young

A cross between Phragmipedium besseae x Phragmipedium longifolium, Phrag. Eric Young is a gorgeous example of a primary hybrid. Named for a renowned British orchidist, Eric Young's passion for orchids started when he was in his teens. Tragically, he lost his first orchid collection during WWII. Undeterred, his successes in business and eventual relocation to Jersey of the British Channel Islands paved the way for him to rebuild his collection and contribute to the world of orchids on a global scale.
