Golden Yellow Blooms on a Pocket-Sized Fan
An equitant oncidium hybrid bred for high-contrast color and heavy flower count on miniature, succulent fans. It delivers an arching spray of warm blossoms while taking up less bench room than a coffee mug.
The flowers open bright sunshine-yellow, centered with a broad, ruffled lip that spreads out like a tiny flounced skirt. Warm chestnut-brown freckles and cinnamon bars dance across the center and upper petals, giving each one-inch bloom crisp definition that lasts for weeks on wiry, branched stems.
Equitant oncidiums are famous for packing outsized drama into practically zero square inches, and this cross makes that case effortlessly. The stiff, triangular fans tuck neatly onto an east-facing sill, soaking up morning light and throwing generous floral sprays without crowding out your other plants. When you need bold island color but your growing space is already spoken for, it solves the problem with a grin.
